Meet Dr. Emad Kaldas.
Dr. Emad Kaldas M.D. is an American Academy of Pediatrics Board Certified physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kaldas received his M.D. from Ain Shams School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt in 1982. After medical school, Dr. Kaldas continued his practice at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock serving as the Chief Resident of Education. Dr. Kaldas furthermore participated in the education and training of medical students and pediatric residents. During his residency, he was elected “Outstanding Resident of the Year” and later served as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
After having years of experience working at the North Central Baptist Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Room as well as group practice, Dr. Kaldas decided to open Alpha Pediatrics in San Antonio.
Dr. Kaldas is dedicated to providing the best healthcare experience for adolescent patients and their families and committed to providing a medical home for patients within the community. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, barbecuing, and spending time with his wife Mona and their two children. He also has a deep love of nature and spends his evenings and weekends gardening.

Meet Michelle, Board Certified Nurse Practicioner
Michelle was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. In 2005, she graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Prior to becoming a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Michelle worked as an RN in the pediatric emergency room at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. In August 2019 she received her Master of Science in Nursing in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Michelle has always been passionate about taking care of sick children and helping with educating both her patients and their families.
Michelle is thrilled to join the practice of Dr. Emad Kaldas.
She is married and the mother of two children (Corban-13 and Payton-10). Michelle also has two dogs, Duke and Diesel. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and outdoor activities.
